Our state of the art Service Centre offers a 14-point winter check inspection, where one of our highly trained technicians will carry out a series of checks on your vehicle. 

Winter Check

Antifreeze - Check antifreeze content to stop the risk of coolant freezing and damaging the engine.

Cooling System – Your cooling system will be checked for leaks as well as checking the cooling fans operation.

Battery – Battery condition check will be carried out.

Starter and charging system – We will check that the alternator is charging correctly. We will check the starter motor and lead for their performance and overall condition.

Ancillary belt – We will check the belts condition and make adjustments when needed.

Lights – A check will be carried out on all the exterior lights operate correctly as well as assessing the condition of the lens.

Wiper Blades – Your wiper blades will receive a check for wear or splitting.

Washers – Your washers will be checked for their operation as well as your fluid content levels are correct.

Tyres – Your tyres will receive a check for any damage wear and pressures.

Air Conditioning – An operation and temperature check will be carried out.

Oil – An oil level check will be carried out.

Shock Absorbers – A visual inspection will be carried out on the suspension bushes to identify any fixings needed from damage and wear.

Brakes - A visual inspection will be carried out on the front and rear brake pads for their condition and wear.

New Year, New Car- New Generation i20

The New Generation Hyundai i20 is available to test-drive at Autoworld Hyundai from Friday the 23rd of January to the 25th of January.

The increase in popularity with the Hyundai brand grows more as the years roll on. This is down to their forward thinking, innovative concepts and cutting edge technologies. The new generation Hyundai i20 is the latest example of these skills and talents which have all stream lined towards one sophisticated and refined design.

Refinement

The new generation i20 brings with it levels of refinement and quality within materials used for the build that will exceed your expectations.

The material for the exterior build is of ultra high strength steel, which increases rigidity by 64% improving the overall handling of the vehicle. To drown out the sounds and stresses on the busy roads, the i20 uses materials that are of high density sound absorption to make your journey as peaceful as possible. For extra comfort, Hyundai have answered this call with an extended wheelbase and revised rear suspension, which results in a smoother ride.

Comfort & Convenience

Whether it’s a car suited for a busy working life style or a one for those family trips, the i20 has the space and a whole host of standard and optional features that all contribute towards making this a vehicle suited for all different kinds of life styles.

Amongst these standard features are LED daytime running lights, which will enhance your visibility of possible dangers on the road a hill, assist control system. The Competition

The new generation Hyundai i20 takes aim at the Super Mini market which means taking on the Ford Fiesta, Skoda Fabia, Volkwagen Polo and Toyota Yaris.

When it comes to price the Hyundai i20 starts at £10,695* OTR for the S 1.2, which is a massive £1,600* lower than the Ford Fiesta Style 1.2. If we move up to the top of the range model, the i20 Premium SE is priced at £14,725* OTR which is over £2000* cheaper than the Volkswagen Polo SEL 1.2. *All prices correct as of 12^th November 2014.

When it comes to features the i20 is miles ahead of the competition with 16” Alloy wheels and Cruise Control as standard on the i20 SE from only £12,725 OTR, cruise control isn’t standard on the Skoda Fabia until you look at the GreenLine II which is £14,275 OTR**. If you want rear parking sensors as standard on the VW Polo you’ll have to pay an extra £295**. **Prices correct as of 20^th January 2015.

New Year, New Car - Suzuki Celerio

The new Suzuki Celerio launches this weekend at Autoworld. Suzuki are known for making high quality, reliable and practical small cars. 2015 sees the introduction of the new Suzuki Celerio, which is shaping up to be Suzuki’s next big small car.

Passing the Alto

The Suzuki Alto has been in part of the Suzuki range since Maruti introduced the first generation in 1979, since then we have seen another 6 generations of the Alto, not including the 8^th generation that was only released in Japan last year, with the most recent being launched internationally in 2008.

Bring on the Celerio

This is Suzuki’s next big small car; the Celerio is a huge step in the right direction for Suzuki who are looking to enter a very competitive City Car market.

New Year, New Car - Fiat 500X

Fiat have continued to expand their range of 500 based models following the success of the 500L and moved towards offering a larger city car that has off road capabilities with the new 500X.

2 X Style

The new 500X comes in 2 different styles: City and Off Road. Both models come with their own distinctive body styles, this is just the first level of customisation available to you as both models are available in 12 colours; 4 pastel shades (Passione Red, Ice White, Art Grey and Cinema Black), 5 metallic (Toscana Green, Venezia Blue, Magnetic Bronze, Argento Grey, Fashion Grey), 1 matt (Matt Magnetic Bronze) and 2 three-coat options (Amore Red and Amalfi Yellow).

X-traordinary Performance

The 500X comes with 3 different engines to choose from which includes the new 1.4 Turbo MultiAir II 140 HP that Fiat have labelled “One of the best petrol engines in the world in terms of its emission/power ratio thanks to MultiAir technology, which enhances performance levels while at the same time lowering fuel consumption and emission levels”. Other engines include a Dual Clutch 6 Speed Automatic (not available at launch) and a 9 Speed Automatic that is exclusive to the Fiat 500X.

The 500X is available from only £14,595 OTR from Autoworld Fiat. Fiat have released 500 Opening Edition model in both the Off Road and City styling, the Opening Edition for the City style is available from £17,595 and comes with £1,725 of extras whilst the Off Road Opening Edition is available from £25,845 and comes with £2,850 of extras.
