Specification
The entry level model is the SZ4 and for only £13,999* your
getting quite a lot of features. As standard the SZ4 comes with Bluetooth Phone
and Music streaming connectivity, DAB radio/CD with USB, automatic air
conditioning, cruise control with speed limiter, full electric windows, LED
daytime running lights and Halogen projector headlights. That’s a great level
of specification for an entry level model!
Step up to the SZ-T and your getting all of the
aforementioned and; rear privacy glass, satellite navigation and smartphone
link audio. The SZ-T starts from only £15,499 and can be equipped with optional
Urban or Rugged packs, more on those later.
The top end SZ5 specification starts from £17,999 and comes
with 17” alloy wheels, LED projector headlights, suede seat fabric, key-less
entry, electric folding door mirrors, automatic headlights and wipers, adaptive
cruise control, panoramic sunroof and radar brake support.
Optional Packs
Both the SZ-T and SZ5 models can be equipped with either the
Rugged or Urban pack for an extra level of personalisation.
The Rugged pack adds Black foglamp bezel, front skid plate
enhancement, black body side mounting, rear skid plate enhancement and loading
edge protection.
The Urban pack comes with chrome foglamp bezel, chrome body
side mouldings and rear upper spoiler.
The packs are an additional £500 but if you’re looking for a
bit of extra detail around the car then they are both great options.
Interior
When you step inside the new Suzuki Vitara you’ll find a
high quality interior with a 3 point leather steering wheel as standard which
is fully adjustable, 2 front cup holders, bottle holders in both the front and
rear doors and an ergonomically designed dashboard to give absolute clarity
whilst driving.
Upgrading to the SZ5 specification means you get Suede seat
upholstery, centre analogue clock, double sliding panoramic sunroof and 2
tweeters added to the sound system.
All Round Safety & Convenience
The new Vitara has got everything you could possible want in
a modern day car when it comes to driving aids and convenience, features like
cruise control, air conditioning and
tyre pressure monitoring come as standard with the SZ4 model but move up to the
SZ5 and features include; a rear parking camera, key-less entry, push button
start and adaptive cruise control.
Safety comes as standard with the new Vitara as features
like ABD, ESP, Hill Hold Control, 7 air bags (driver, passenger, side, and
curtain and drivers knee) and ISO fix seats. The SZ5 comes with the new Radar
Brake System which monitors distance from the vehicle in front, gives warnings
and can apply the brakes automatically if required.
Engines
Petrol and Diesel options are available for the new SuzukiVitara and both of which are available with the AllGrip system, an option
available on the SZ5 model that allows full 4 wheel drive and has settings for
Snow and Sport. All Petrol and Diesel engines are 1.6 with manual
transmissions, a quoted top speed of 112 mph and fuel tank capacity of 47
litres.
